My experience with Dr. Engineer and his assistant (Jennie) was excellent. I found Dr. Engineer to be a very knowledgeable and expert physician in family and community healthcare. Dr. Engineer and his team were compassionate and caring, helping me and other patients on a weekend.
Very bad communication. Can't get anything done from first try. Any medical form to be filled will turn out to be incomplete and require resubmission. Phone call appointment is a joke. They call you once, you don't pick up in 10 sec, they will not bother to call again. Have to reschedule and wait days or weeks for next one. Call made from computer so you can't call back if you missed it. Asked them to call on a new number, they say ok and than called on the wrong number. Really unbelievable. Happy I changed the clinic for my mother to a more professional clinic.
I don't understand why Dr. Engineer assistant / office is charging my girlfriend for the prescription refills. Dr assistant said prescription refills are not coverd by OHIP. Her previous Dr office never charged her for those same prescription refills or and prescription. When my gf said ok will pay coz she was in so bad need for those medication, then Dr assistance send her personal etransfer ID. We are so confused what's going on here? Coz if they are charging then should charge from dr office. Am taking this issue and report.
I've been a patient for almost 20 years. Dr Engineer is fantastic, however the office will not respond to contact requests. I'd been trying to book an appointment since August through text & voicemail, only to be ignored by staff.
I like Dr. Engineer but his receptionist/assistant is so rude. She doesn't know how to talk to people which should be a basic skill for anyone working in this job. Not even a simple good morning or thank you. I wonder how someone who lacks people skills or communication skills would even bother doing this kind of work. Try talking to her for 30seconds and you will know exactly what I'm talking about.
The receptionist is so rude and she doesn't know how to talk to a patient who is in pain. There are basic ethics to deal with a patient but I guess they need to work on that
Been my doctor for years... HIGHLY Effective & Knowledgeable, Caring, & Understanding and definitely a Doctor you can trust. Long Wait time is worth it... only downside is his office admin, who lacks both social & emotional intelligence skills
