The medical, and office team, are readily available and provide a warm personalized service. What sets Serefin Health apart is the proactive healthcare provided by the clinic. Care that does not stop at the office door: More than once, we have received a late evening follow-up phone call from Dr.Vera Kohut, and once, when I had to go to Mount Sinai Hospital’s Emergency ward with an unknown malady, Dr. Kohut followed up by coming and consulting with the Emergency Ward Doctors (Note: The following day, the Mount Sinai lung specialist commented to me that, “You have an amazing and talented Doctor taking care of you”. I couldn’t agree more). In addition to the excellent medical care, the Clinic keeps track and send reminders of any medical appointments. They also advise when vaccination or specialty services are available. Etc. Furthermore, there is the “location” advantage: The clinic is situated close to a subway station, or if driving, there is parking nearby, and if a blood test is needed, there are medical labs are in the adjacent building.
