Avoid this guy for shoe repair. He is terrible at it. Took three pairs of shoes to him that all came apart within 24 hours. And all requiring minor fixes. And then he refuses to give you a refund. Go to Rob’s Best Foot forward. Took the same shoes to Rob and they are still going strong.
Very rude guy was sitting there today. Came there to ask how much would it be to fix my shoes since the other places have given me the quota before without me having my boots with me, so I thought this place would be the same. I come in, everything is good, but as soon as I start talking I get interrupted mid sentence by a very rude answer of his. He said: “Can you tell me how much my car costs just by looking at it?”. This threw me so off guard and I already decided to leave the shop. I have read other reviews that also had very bad experience and interactions with this man, so go there if you would like, but I don’t recommend it.
I dropped off my work bag here as one of the zippers inside had broken (come out of the teeth). Saeed was extremely helpful as he explained what needed to be done to fix it. He even got it done before the date I was expecting it. Very happy with the end result as it was fixed properly and looks like new now. Would highly recommend for quality of service.
Hate leaving bad reviews but feel like this one is necessary as I was left with a frankenbag. Dropped off a bag to replace leather straps on. I had no time crunch and paid $120 expecting a professional job given the good reviews. Bag was done 2 days later with terribly crooked stiching and inconsistent spacing. Given the price and that the owner did not advise me of potential limitations, I went back to ask him nicely to re-do it or issue me a partial refund. He was extremely offended and defensive that I was not happy with the end product and tried to tell me it was my fault for bringing in a difficult bag. I left with no refund and he refused to re-do the job.
My favourite boots have been SAVED. The insides was almost completely destroyed at the heels to the point of being unwearable, the zipper was busted, but now they’re even better than when I first bought them. Plus they’re all shined up now. Thank you!!
Make sure the instructions to repair your shoes are written down . Otherwise be prepared for a long drawn out mess to get done what you need to get done .
