This review is for the Property manager Arnel. We moved in the unit beginning of October. However, within 2 months after we moved in, we encountered many issues such as leaky kitchen sink, loose kitchen knob, loose front door knob, broken window knob. As you can see, a lot of issues with knobs! Arnel fixed all of those issues with urgency and care. For that, I really appreciate him. There are still some items that need to be addressed, but I am confident that Arnel will address those in a timely manner.
The worst management office ever. They never respond to emails or phone calls. You literally have to stop everything and go there in person just to be heard. Completely unprofessional! The building has only three elevators for over 40 floors, so there’s always a long line, and it’s unbelievable how much time we waste waiting for them or stuck inside. To make things worse, at least one elevator is always broken. They also turn off the air conditioning way too early and take forever to turn it back on, so for months the units reach almost 30°C inside. Terrible management and poor building maintenance. I do not recommend living here! PS: Pray you never need pest control.
had a very bad experience living in this building managed by Harrington Housing. From the beginning, they did not give me the room I had booked and paid for, and communication has been terrible. They take days to reply to emails, and when they finally do, the answers are generic and don’t solve anything. The biggest issue has been the air conditioning and heating system. My room is 29°C, with unbearable heat, and when I reported it, they replied saying that the A/C was turned off due to the “season change.” That is completely unacceptable — there’s no proper ventilation, and it’s almost impossible to sleep in these conditions. When I moved in, the room was dirty, and the bed was in terrible condition — uncomfortable and clearly used before. This is not what they advertise or what you expect when paying their prices. The building also lacks proper maintenance, and the common areas are not always clean. Overall, I do not recommend renting here. The management is slow, disorganized, and shows no empathy for residents. If you are considering living here, look for another place where they actually care about what they promise and provide basic comfort. This place doesn’t even deserve one star.
Gina is the best. I had a problem with metergy solution about an invalid bill. Gina took take of that and given me soft response every time i come to office
Olga Pak from Harrington Houses is the worst advisor, she never responds, she doesn't give you a solution, if she sees you in the building she prefers to evade you and not face any problem with the agency, it's unbelievable she is the manager of 561 Sherbourne Street. Avoid doing business with the agency, they are disorganized, respond late and have no equipment to handle all the units they have.
Very bad customer service and the worst management team i have ever seen . Want to move out of this place but the management team is not responding to my request for cancellation and mentally torturing me. Please avoid renting a room with Harrington.
I don't recommend living here. security guards who are always sleeping at their night shifts, elevators that never work... the building is always dirty. Dirty elevators, dirty hallways. There is no minimum control over who enters or leaves the building. for the 3 thousand dollars in rent here, you can live in a better building, with minimal facilities. there are approximately 350 apartments and often only one working elevator... hell. gym always full and old equipment. The only good thing is the view. However, you may be seen as good or even better elsewhere.
