We had a comfortable stay here.||On arrival we had poor service from Deepali on reception.||She was rude, did not even say hello or welcome and did not explain to us that we were not due a full room clean including fresh sheets despite being there for 4 nights unless we requested it at reception.||The rooms themselves were spacious - two seperate double beds including a fridgefreezer, sink & small square dining table.||The pillows were comfy and the beds were fine aswell.||Location wise youre about a 8 minute drive to Union Street station which was not expensive in an uber.||There is a supermarket, coffee shop and local fitness centre including swimming pool a 3 minute walk away.||Overall we felt this was never going to be high end staying and it delivered what we expected.||Note when booking an uber put it to "80 cooperage street" as there is another college in a different location in Toronto which is not close.|

If you’re looking for budget-friendly accommodation in downtown Toronto during the summer months, The Residence & Conference Centre – Toronto Downtown might catch your eye. Located at George Brown College’s Waterfront campus, it offers apartment-style suites with private bathrooms and basic kitchenettes. But while the price and location may appeal, the experience falls short in several areas. Cleanliness Rooms are generally clean. However, housekeeping is only offered for stays longer than four nights — and even then, it may be missed, as it was in our case. Laundry Woes Laundry is self-service, but the system is outdated. You need to buy a non-refundable laundry card for CAD5, plus pay extra for each wash and dry. The card machine only accepts cash, despite claiming to take cards. I was annoyed to be stuck with a useless card after checking out. Verdict While the location is excellent, the lack of basic amenities and inconsistent service makes this accommodation hard to recommend — especially at nearly CAD230 per night. If comfort, convenience, and good service matter to you, this is likely not the place to stay when visiting Toronto. For my full review, check out my video diary in my YouTube Channel.

Not your typical hotel-like experience but like a hostel /airbnb with your own room but no kitchenette. Not much amenities.Customer service is average.Different from hotel experience.|Check-in time is at 4:00pm and check out at 11:00 am. Not worth my money.Had a late check in and requested for late check out but was not granted.Suite has microwave ,fridge ,TV,towels, conditioner, soap, tissues, but no shampoo,no coffee maker,no coffee or tea,no complimentary water.I wasn’t informed where the bar/lounge is located but, there is a SUBWAY where you can get regular coffee and Food Market Express for water, etc.||While checking out, lots of tourists but non -students checking in.In my opinion ,one of the reasons why housing costs are higher in Toronto is because this student housing accommodating stay for public around the world for higher cost.In my opinion, student housing residences should prioritize their students so that student will not be competing with the housing rental market.||Location is very far from downtown Toronto but stay comes with free parking. This property is located in North York.Suite is clean.

Great place, friendly stuff. We stayed for one night and the room with two bedrooms had everything we needed. It was spacious, clean, quiet and very close to our venue.

Stayed here for a first trip to Toronto. A tiny bit out of the main city but easy transport links or about 30-40 mins walk away. Basic accommodation but two bedrooms, fridge and microwave- could ask for kettle at the main desk. Was a quiet building with a mix of ages, staff were always willing to help and yes it was basic but it was also much cheaper than everywhere else. Didn’t get our room cleaned for our 6 night stay despite a sign saying it happens every 4 nights. ||Would stay again and would recommend.

Had a great experience last summer at the Residence & Conference Centre in Toronto. There was a mix-up with our booking—we had accidentally reserved the North York location when we meant to stay in downtown Toronto. Thankfully, the front desk staff—Jonathan and Sylvana—were incredibly kind and helpful. They immediately assisted us and put us in touch with Rutvi, who made the transfer smooth and stress-free. We were so grateful for their professionalism, patience, and excellent customer service. Huge thanks to the team for turning what could have been a frustrating situation into a pleasant one. Would absolutely stay here again!

Good location. Clean. Spartan. Definately like student accommodation., which is what it is really! Nice receptionists. No coffee machine in room. vending machines nearly always played up in some way so bring water/ snacks with you. Very good value though. A couple of nice restaurants nearby.
