Love living here, great staff, outstanding maintenance team, friendly security and management are all great. The facilities are always clean! The hallways need renovation on some floors and in general we are very happy and the apartment is so spacious.
Extremely racist management. If you are black don't even bother because they will not consider you. Applied to rent an apartment here and instantly got denied for no reason even when i can afford the place and offered to pay rent upfront as well. This is discriminatory and against the Ontario human rights act.
DO NOT RENT HERE!!! When moving in we made it clear that roaches were our deal breaker, they assured us multiple times there was no roaches at this time. A couple months ago they sprayed an industrial chemical treatment against my knowledge, being 5 months pregnant at the time in which they were aware of as we informed them I was pregnant, we were forced to evacuate for three days, and after doing further investigation we found them reported under the bed bug registry as having roaches just a week before we moved in meaning they lied to us to get us to take the apartment. Not only was management not helpful but they used scare tactics and dominance to try to keep us quiet. Giving us an ultimatum that we either sign a non-disclosure agreement stating we will not speak or take action against them due to the incident or else they would not allow us to move out early due to our very valid safety concerns. I found out they they had sprayed our neighbours and upper-level neighbours apartment multiple time the month prior to this incident explaining the breathing issues I started experiencing around this time that persist to this day as they have forced us to finish the last three months of our tenancy due to us not signing the non disclosure agreement. My neighbour at this point knows the roach treatment guy by first name as he said he is spraying somewhere in this building at lest 2-3 times a week. It also explains all our house plants dying suddenly, plants we have had for over four years. The air is unsafe, they have mice Roaches and rats and I highly suggest looking elsewhere as they are charging high class prices for unsafe living conditions.
DONT RENT HERE -major cockroach problem for the high price you pay They kept coming to pour some powder over certain areas but it did not help with the problem. Kept reporting it repeatedly and no exterminator was called
Great building, the concierge staff are really friendly and helpful and it's easy to get a hold of management. Overall maintenance tends to get done pretty quickly if it's an emergency. The newly renovated units are really beautiful, though you will pay more because of it, not cheap but I find it worth the money to live in a nice space. The TTC is not that close, realistically it's at least a 10 minute walk especially if you're waiting for the elevator. They can get pretty bad if there is one broken or in service but is generally ok. Overall spacious apartment with good amenities (pool, gym, 24 hour concierge). I haven't had any issues with pests, no roaches or bed bugs in my apartment but I've heard of others having issues.
Not a bad place but very expensive. There is not TTC stop near the building. The roads are very busy and there is a luck of available spaces in the local schools.
Have been living here for over a year now. I saw some comments below about roach problems, but THANK GOD I have never had this kind of issue here. I think they've taken care of it. The building is not perfect, however I think since they changed the building management, I've seen more good will on solving problems. The building itself is old but the renovation makes the units look brand new (don't know about the quality but looks new and modern). Overall, I like living here. As I said, it's not perfect, but I think they try to fight problems and don't just ignore you.
