As a tenant who has lived here for almost three years, I’ve been very happy. Recently, when I encountered some issues, Sayansh and Matthias played a major role in helping us communicate with the management team and the third party partnership between the taylor and the laundry concierage. Wonderful experience to live here, excellent and professional managers, concierges, maintenance and securities teams. Especially want to appreciate Nathan helped me to deal with all issues I met. Concierge Mattmas and Sayansh Mohan they are truly kind guys, and helped me a lot.
Insane space to live, a breath of fresh air - literally. Everyone has been so welcoming and kind. The concierge staff go out of their way to help with even the little tasks in my day to day, and always surprise me with how caring and willing they are. Alewuya gets a shout out cuz she’s been top tier !!! She never fails to make me laugh, even when I’m in a rush she catches me off guard and I can’t help but relax in her presence. Big big love 4 this place !!
As a former resident of this building, I can confidently say that The Taylor is the place to be. The amenities are out of this bloody world and I made GOOD use of The Sanctuary that gave nothing but serene vibes and amazing views of the CN Tower while I worked through a busy work day or spent a few hours writing or watched Love Island at night lol. Everything from The Node - the 9th floor indoor and outdoor rooftop deck - to the music room to everything on the 13th floor...just to die for. I also want to give a massive shoutout to the concierge team (Matthias, Daneja, Carlos, and Alewuya I miss y'all already). They were truly there for every request, every question, every delivery, and were fab conversationalists from the day I moved in to the day I moved out. It was so nice living in a building with a concierge and security team that made residents feel safe, heard, and truly looked after. I want to give another massive shoutout to Daniel for completing every work order with nothing but a smile on his face and helped me out where I needed it from mounting and unmounting TVs to lending me tools so I could properly dismantle things to even playing with my cat. To the cleaning staff who always keep the building spotless and do so with a smile on their face and never fail to spark up a convo with residents while they're working. And lastly, I want to say the biggest thank you to Kasha and Natasha on the property management team for being so open and willing to answer questions and inquiries, help me through processes, chat about things, and even dealing with difficult roommates. These ladies helped me more than I think they realized and am forever grateful for that. The Taylor is in INSANELY good hands with this crew and I would absolutely live here again. I would've stayed longer if I could! You are valued more than just a tenant or owner in this building for sure.
Mathias, Alewuya, Carlos, Jo and Sayashsh Can’t say enough about them. Amazing people always ready to help. Was here for almost 3 years And they made my life easy. Never ever turned away when I needed help. Will miss them for sure.
Reposting a review now that I have been living here since Oct 2022. The building itself is very nice, and well decorated. amenities are great with some minor issues (pool closures in the middle of the summer, very high booking fees for lounges/guest suites). Unit layout is decent, appliances are high quality. The building puts on different events and classes for residents which is highly appreciated and adds to the value of living here. The building is also pet friendly which is great! Concierge team (Matthias, elewya) are all absolutely amazing - they are mostly the ones I interact with on a regular basis and a big part of why I continue to live here - they provide an exceptional resident experience. Quick to address any issues that come up, always friendly, have the info you need, and go above and beyond and super welcoming. Maintenance team were incredible in helping us getting things installed in the unit when we moved in and are quick to come by if we have any issues (Billy and Jo). These teams are really the backbone of this building, complete the resident experience here, and make the building stand out compared to other places I have lived in the city. Most recently, Carlos worked with us to renew our lease and we had a fantastic experience with him. He is great to work with, makes sure any issues are addressed immediately, has great communication and gets things done! On the downside (and the reason my review is not 5 stars), the building contracts with Wyse for hydro billing, which is an incredibly shady company. They double what your actually utility/hydro usage is under the guise of “fees” and have terrible customer service. When called, they can’t seem to explain the high charges and fees and say vague things. Having lived in other condos in Toronto, I’ve never paid such high amounts for hydro bills as I do here through Wyse. I was previously paying $120 in utilities for a three bedroom unit in another building and pay over $200 in utilities monthly for a one bedroom unit here, for comparison.
