I have been in this clinic for four years now, two pregnancies. Staff are very friendly and professional. Their timing is great as well. Never late and always on time. Recommended to moms like me.
PREGNANT WOMEN AVOID THIS PLACE! Im a pelvic physio and pregnant with my third baby and was shocked the technician totally lacked compassion and was annoyed my bladder wasn’t “full” enough for my pregnancy dating ultrasound. She mentioned a transvaginal ultrasound as an alternative but then dismissed my questions regarding the risks to the baby and she just walked out. I cleaned my gel off and walked into the waiting room confused, only to find her speaking another language with her colleagues about me and then just took her next patient. The receptionist told me I had to rebook since “I didn’t want the trans vaginal ultrasound” and my appointment time was over. She spent the 15mins training another tech on the equipment and only 5sec scanning me only to say “ugh bladder is empty”. Being a pelvic healthcare professional myself, I know how sensitive this area of practice is, I couldn’t believe the complete lack of humanity and compassion. This was a pregnancy dating ultrasound, my first for this pregnancy, my husband I were nervous about the baby and she just dismissed all of that and treated us like an inconvenience. In fact they wouldn’t even let my husband attend the appointment until they decided he could come in, saying “he might have questions and we don’t know the answers.” The obvious solution is turn the monitor away from view! Clearly this place cares only about their bottom line and not about their patients. I had a much better experience at a walk in clinic at Keele and Lawrence. If you want to be treated with respect and dignity, do not go here.
I don’t know what’s happened here but for our third pregnancy they treated us like complete garbage. You’re supposed to be health care first. You used to be good but now you have zero care for your patients.
If I can give 0 star I would. My doctor recommended this place for an ultrasound. When I booked my appointment weeks in advance, I specifically requested a female ultrasound technologist, knowing it was for a pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound. I even confirmed this request multiple times over the phone. I rearranged my work schedule today and came to my 4:00 pm appointment after holding a full bladder for over an hour, only to be called in by a male technologist. I immediately declined and explained that I had confirmed several times that a female technologist would be available at this time. The receptionist simply responded, “Oh, you don’t want it? We’ll just reschedule” (she scheduled it 2 weeks after and laughed, saying, “Now you can pee.” This was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and dismissive of my comfort and time. I left work early and prepared for this appointment based on their assurance, only to be disregarded. Never again.
I recently had a neck ultrasound done and felt uncomfortable with how the procedure was handled. The male technician did not ask for consent or explain what would happen before starting the exam. During the procedure, his elbow accidentally touched my chest, and there was no acknowledgment or apology, which made me feel uneasy. I believe communication and professionalism are very important during medical procedures, especially when physical contact is involved. A simple explanation or apology would have made the experience feel much more respectful and comfortable.
SCAM. My mother did an ultrasound in January and this ultrasound clinic is not forwarding the results to the ordering doctor after requesting for it 3 times. When we try view the results online, it makes you pay $49 to view the result. Such a scam. Never going here again.
Definitely recommend this place. Technicians are very experienced and professional. I have been there few times and always got in on-time. I got a reminder call the day before and the report was with my doctor the next day. Receptionists are very friendly as well.
