Been coming here for years and just saw the not so great reviews. All the time I have been coming here there has been no issues and never had to wait much longer than the time I had my appointment at. Great staff, only thing is limited seating but who cares if I'm in and out so quick
I’m an international student, and this was one of the worst clinic experiences I’ve ever had. Their service was horrible, and the way the staff spoke to me was extremely disappointing. After they canceled my appointments multiple times, I finally called my referral doctor to change the clinic because of how badly they handled everything.
I can’t say enough good things about this walk-in clinic! It’s so refreshing to find a place in Toronto where you can actually get an appointment quickly — even on weekends. The hours are super convenient, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the doctors are kind and easy to talk to. I also love that there’s a pharmacy attached, which makes everything so much more convenient. Highly recommend!
Walked in at 5:30, was told it would only be a half hour waiting while only having 3 people infront of me. waited an hour to be let into a room to only watch the doctor head to every other patient behind me in line TWICE. ended up walking out after not even being seen at 7:15. will never go here again the worst medical service I have (n)ever received.
Admittedly this review is a while after the incident so maybe practises have changed. But just in case, here's a heads up for people who come here and end up getting stitches. I had a knife accident at work and was bleeding enough that medical care was advised. The wait time at the closest hospital was a few hours so we did a search for clinics in the area that did stitches (in case I needed them) and this was the closest one. I confirmed with the receptionist that the clinic did stitches and I was told by the doctor I would need them. Initially she told me the clinic didn't do stitches but after I told her what the receptionist said she did a search for supplies and found some in another office. She then mentioned in passing she hadn't done these kinds of stitches before which was not something I wanted to hear. I really only needed one stitch but she said she would do two more to be safe and so that my scar "healed pretty." I should have declined the extras. When she was finished she told me to come back to get them removed or go to my own doctor. I had an appointment coming up with my doctor anyway so I opted for that. My doctor observed that he would have gone with a different kind of stitch- dissolvable not plastic. I didn't think much of that until a stitch got stuck. This was, by the way, one of the stitches the clinic doctor added to make the scar "heal pretty," not the one I actually needed. My doctor injected something around the stubborn stitch and told me to come back in a few days to try removing it again. A few days later the stitch thankfully came out of my wrist. Cut to a month later, a desk light hit my wrist a certain way and I swore I could see a bit of plastic under my skin. I visited my doctor again and sure enough, a piece of the stitch was still in there because the clinic doctor had sewn too deep. I was given two options- have the entire cut reopened on the off chance it could be removed or just let it stay there. I opted for keeping the bit of stitch in. For the record, my wrist did not "heal pretty." It's so puckered that people assume it's a bad burn scar. In summary, go a hospital if you think you'll need stitches- no matter the wait time- otherwise you might spend a month trying to remove a single stitch you didn't actually need. And not even succeeding.
